My Paris Photo of the Day: From the Top of the Eiffel Tower

My brother was in town last week and we went all the way up the Eiffel Tower. The weather was horrible and we got soaking wet but I managed to get some nice views of Paris. Granted, a little touristy but I love it anyway.

In this view you can see South West Paris, the Seine river and some of the bridges. In the tip of the island on the river you can spot a replica of the Statue of Liberty. More on that subject in a few days.

That photo shows my jogging route almost completely. But it’s way too hot for jogging today!

Ah, so good to see Paris again. I haven’t been for several years now and miss the city with all its wonderful architecture, food, people watching, patisseries, cheese, wine, gardens, etc. I look forward to seeing more.
